benefits: Diluted in a carrier oil such as kukui nut or rosehip
seed it makes a wonderful facial oil for mature and weathered skin.
It is beneficial in facial washes, after-shaves and cleansing
lotions for problem skin. An all around "skin" oil it improves tone
and appears to have moisturizing properties. Mildly stimulating it
is reputed to have a healthful effect on the liver. An interesting
addition to a diffuser or personal aroma. Blends Well
With: Carrot Seed's earthy aroma combines well with Chamomile,
Lavender, Coriander and the sweet citruses. Notes: Carrot
seed essential oil does not come from the typical tabletop carrots
we are accustomed to. It is from the seed of Queen Anne's Lace (Wild
carrot) and is a close cousin of orange Carrots we munch on.
Safety Data: Possible photosensitivity. Potential skin
irritant on sensitive skin - always dilute. Not for use while
pregnant or nursing.
As with all essential oils, do not use undiluted. Do not take
internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner.
